About Me

My name is Emily and I am a 23 year old Irish girl originally from Limerick but now living in Dublin, working in digital marketing in the wonderful world of Catering Supplies! Having grown up in a small village in Limerick I have been adventuring through fields pretty much since I could walk so it’s no wonder I love travelling to this day!

I often went on holidays with my family or on trips to the beach in Ireland but it wasn’t until my J1ย when I went away for a full Summer that I realized I could figure out the ways & means to travel.. and I haven’t stopped ever since!

My blog consists of my experiences and tips as I travel Ireland & the rest of the world while working full time. If you like what you see, I would love for you to follow along in my adventures!

You can follow more on my adventures & daily life on both Instagram & Twitter.

If you would like to work with me or if you have any questions please contact me by e-mail at: thewildwayfarerblog@gmail.comย ๐Ÿ˜Š

  1. Emily your about me page is lovely. I am really enjoying your short introduction. Your blog is pretty good. I hope I got some great stuff to read from your blog. ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Hi Emily,
I love reading about your journeys and just loved When In Rome. Kinda sticking and guidebook in your pocket and letting the market just unfold before your eyes is the most beautiful way to go. I love it.
Thank you for following my photography blog: http://throughharoldslens.com. I hope you enjoy your journey.

  3. Hello Emily! Ireland’s one of the best countries for me. In fact, my all-time fave musicians are The Corrs! I followed you in Instagram! Hope you’ll follow me too! Hugs. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Definitely bringing a jacket! ๐Ÿ˜Š we will be driving and have plans to visit Dublin, Killarney, Galway, and Belfast… Hopefully with time for a few side stops a long the way. I have giants causeway, the cliffs of moher and newgrange/Tara on my must do list…

        1. The lakes of Killarney & Torc waterfall are a must, if you can drive along some of the Ring of Kerry I’d also advise that! Galway city is great – the best nightlife for tourists out of all the places you mentioned and Salthill beach is only about 2km from the city centre ๐Ÿ˜ just a note that everything in Belfast is closed on Sunday until at least 12/1 o clock also but it’s a great city!

          1. Thank you I’ll research these places today! Good to know about Belfast… Maybe I’ll head to the Causeway that day. The Ring of Kerry is on our list as well, but I forgot to mention. Lovely blog and photos!! Keep them coming.

  4. I really enjoyed your blog about Prague. I haven’t visited there yet but it is on my bucket list as my Father’s family and much of my ancestry on that side of the family is clustered around Prague.

  5. Thank you for stopping by on my blog and leading me to yours! My whole family is from Limerick and I have two cousins at the university there! ๐Ÿ™‚ would definitely love to do a road trip of Ireland some day so seeing any of your experiences on here will be lovely inspiration! I look forward to keeping up with your adventures! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Emily, thank you for liking my Blog. I have in fact already been all over Ireland at least three times…this five year mission is effectively the Farewell Tour. Last Sunday, I was at the National Stud and later on the Curragh.
I will blog about this at the weekend.
I expect one of my first journeys will be by train….Dublin-Port Laoise. And coming back, stopping off at Portarlington, Monasteravin, Kildare, Newbridge and then getting back to Dublin.
Another plan is DART along North Dublin….and then later to Greystones and back.

    Best Wishes.
    John

  7. Here’s the link if you fancy giving it a go: https://aspiretoamble.com/abcs-of-travel/
