Right now due to COVID-19 it is a troublesome time on the island of Ireland! With closed borders on many countries we would have gone to for our Summer holidays more people will be looking to holiday on home soil. I can only speak for myself and say that I will definitely be planning a lot of staycations in Ireland this year. Not only because travelling is uncertain for now, but also because I love the thought of putting money back into our own economy and do my bit in helping the country pick the pieces off the ground and put them back together again. Thankfully, Ireland is a stunning country that I’m sure many would be glad to get to travel – so to say that I will be spoiled for choice in the coming months is an understatement! Here are twenty of the most breathtaking, quirky and wonderful Air BnBs that I found during my research as these might be more accessible than hotels in the beginning our lockdown easing. Hopefully you will be as inspired by them to plan trips in Ireland as I was!

These 20 properties located around the isle of Ireland are just a taster of what there is to offer in terms of Air BnB’s and hotels! If you are not already on Air BnB you can get up to €41 off your first stay using my link here (which I will in turn also benefit from, so everyone wins!). Once Ireland opens up a bit more and we are more certain of where we can go and what we can do, I hope to be able to do more similar series to this around hotels, guest houses, etc that will help the communities even further.
Disclaimer: I have not stayed in the above locations, these are place with 5* reviews on Air BnB that really tickled my fancy and will hopefully give you some ideas on where to go next!
